Winners from the Munster Club finals held in UL
Winners and Runners Up from the Munster Doubles and Mixed Championships held in UL on the 18th
Grade 3 and 4 Munster Open Championships
In the grade 4:
Mens singles there were 11 competitors with Barry McCarthy(Killaloe) beating Gary Alcon(Waterford) 22/20 in the 3rd set.
The Ladies had 7 competitors and was won by Siobhan Furlong(Waterford) beating Mary Claire McHatton(Waterford).
The Mens doubles has 8 pairs and was won by Donnie Enright/Donacha Molloney(Moyvanne) besting Gary Alcon/Derek Power(Waterford).
The ladies doubles had 6 pair and was won by Mary Claire McHatton/Siobhan Furlong(Waterford) who beat Trish Herlihy/Angela Kelly(Garryduff)
The mixed had 10 pairs and was won by Donnie Enright/CarmelHudson(Moyvanne) beating Gary Alcon/Mary Claire McHatton(Wd), 21/16 in the 3rd set.
In grade 3:
Mens singles had 9 entrants and was won by Seamus Flaherty(Limerick) who beat Robbie Ingram(Tipp), 21/17 in the 3rd set.
The Ladies had 7 entrants competing and was won by Sinead Maher(Cork) who beat Katherine Sullivan(Wd), 21/14 in the 3rd set.
The Mens doubles had 9 pairs entered and was won by Seamus Flaherty(Lim)/Peter Flemming(Wd) who beat Ali Zain/Eoin O’Mahony(Garryduff).
The Ladies doubles had 8 pairs entered and was won by Sinead/Aoife Maher(Cork) who beat Brid Ahern/Katherine Howard(Limerick).
The mixed doubles had 13 pairs entered and was won by Terrance Rumley/Aoife Maher(Cork) who beat Mark Shaw/Geraldine Jones(Tipp) in 3 sets.
